The Veteran’s Electrical Entry Program (VEEP) has started its second cohort for the year. Students were online for the first six weeks of the program starting in early July and started their first day on campus Monday August 21st. The twelve participants come from different branches of the military and from different parts of the country. Whey they are done with their program they will become 1st year apprentices and move forward on their transition from military life to civilian life with a great career as a Union electrician. Some of these outstanding individuals will stay here in Local 11, and others will be heading to locals in other parts of the country.
