The Electrical Training Institute is proud to announce that one of our standout apprentices, Alexander Geeslin, has been selected as a recipient of a prestigious NTI return scholarship at the 2025 National Training Institute (NTI). The award was officially presented during NTI’s Opening Ceremony, held Sunday evening at the University of Michigan.
Out of hundreds of top-performing apprentices from across the country, Alexander’s name was called as one of the select few chosen to return next year a moment that brought pride and celebration to the entire ETI delegation.
While Alexander's name was announced early in the segment, it was the walk across the stage — second to last in the procession — that truly captured the moment. Dressed in a white shirt, with his long hair flowing and a humble smile on his face, he represented not only himself, but the high standards of the ETI program, IBEW Local 11, and NECA Los Angeles.

Alexander's scholarship reflects his commitment to the craft, his growth as a leader among his peers, and the future he’s helping to shape within the union electrical industry. Through rigorous training, on-the-job experience, and guidance from dedicated instructors and journeymen, he has earned recognition on the national stage.
Please join us in congratulating Alexander Geeslin on this incredible milestone. His achievement is not only a personal triumph but also a testament to what’s possible through dedication, quality training, and a strong support system.
