VEEP LA 10 Cohort Ceremony

Today, the Electrical Training Institute proudly hosted a graduation ceremony for 19 veterans who completed the Veterans Electrical Entry Program (VEEP). These remarkable individuals—representing the U.S. Navy, Army, Marines, and Air Force—came from across the country to celebrate their transition from military service to a new career in the electrical industry.

The ceremony took place at ETI, surrounded by family, friends, and supporters. For those who couldn’t attend in person, we offered a live stream so loved ones from out of state could share in this proud moment.

We were honored to have Mike Kufchak, Veteran Director of IBEW Local 11, host the ceremony, with guest speakers including Eric Cartié (NECA Chapter Manager), Robert Corona (Business Manager, IBEW Local 11), and David Nott (ETI Training Director). Their words of encouragement and support reflected the strength of the partnership behind this program.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a celebratory taco lunch catered by the beloved Chichen Itza restaurant, which brought everyone together to share stories, smiles, and well-deserved congratulations.

We salute our graduates for their service and for choosing to build a future in the skilled trades. We can’t wait to see where their journey takes them next.
