Saturday, May 10 at the Bonaventure Hotel—now that was a night to remember. The Electrical Training Institute’s Class of 2024 gathered with their families, friends, instructors, and supporters for a truly unforgettable graduation ceremony. With over 1,000 people in attendance, the energy in the room was electric.

Although this year’s graduating class was smaller in size, more graduates than ever showed up, making the celebration feel bigger and more powerful than ever.

The evening featured a speech from Training Director Dave Nott, whose message hit home for many: “There’s no elevator to success—you have to take the stairs.” It was a powerful reminder that success is built step by step, through hard work, grit, and determination—values deeply ingrained in every graduate’s journey.

The keynote speaker, Steve Watts—founder of CSI and a proud graduate of the apprenticeship program brought the room to life with a heartfelt and inspiring speech. Drawing from his own journey, Steve spoke about his early days as an apprentice and the path that led him to build a successful company. His words resonated deeply with the graduates, serving as a powerful reminder that with dedication and vision, anything is possible. For the Class of 2024, his story was more than motivating—it was living proof that this milestone is only the beginning of even greater achievements.

The graduates of 2024 have completed a rigorous program and are stepping into the next chapter with tools, knowledge, and the confidence to succeed. The ETI community couldn’t be prouder of what they’ve accomplished and is beyond excited to see what comes next.
