Big changes are underway in the back area of the hi-bay! Our team has begun a substantial revamp of the hydraulic bender and conduit cutting/threading stations to improve safety, efficiency, and organization. The hydraulic benders have been realigned to optimize workflow, and we’re in the process of installing dedicated electrical circuits with individual cord drops for each bender—ensuring more accessible and safer operation. We’re also adding a new 40-foot shelf behind the hydraulic benders to provide students with a convenient, dedicated space to complete their conduit calculations right where they’re working. Additionally, the threading and cutting area is being redesigned to create a more intuitive layout, complete with the introduction of new tools tailored for precise and efficient conduit cutting.
