At the Electrical Training Institute (ETI), innovation means always improving how we train. Our Access Controls lab is the latest to get a major upgrade—transforming from a static setup into a modular, field-ready training system.
From Outdated to Outstanding
The original lab board served its purpose but had limitations—fixed components and cluttered wiring made learning less intuitive. It was time for a smarter, more adaptable approach.
A Smarter, Hands-On Design
The new lab board includes hinged covers for card readers and keypads, making components easier to access and service. It’s built to mirror real job site conditions, with cleaner wiring and more logical layouts that help students focus on skills that matter.
Where Ideas Take Shape
We always prototype before we build. This mockup helped us fine-tune spacing, connections, and flow—turning a concept into a training-ready reality.
Looking Ahead
This lab upgrade reflects ETI’s mission to deliver practical, forward-thinking training. By modernizing our spaces, we’re giving students the tools—and confidence—they need to succeed in the field.
